If a student hands in all work completed on time, she/he received 10 bonus points added in to the homework grade. I have had students bring me homework before it was due so they wouldnít miss their bonus. I also give bonus problems that are due the day the homework is due. If they donít have their assignment complete, the bonus is not counted. That way they cannot substitute the bonus for the homework. For some students, there has been a big change in the amount and quality of homework.î
